Job summary

Adventist Health in Dallesport, Washington is seeking a Home Health Speech Language Pathologist to provide services to patients with speech, language or swallowing disorders in a home health setting.

The role requires a Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, state licensure as an SLP, CPR/BLS certification, and preferably ASHA CCC. A valid driver's license and the ability to travel within the service area are required.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree or foreign equivalent: Required
• WA SLP licensure: Required
• CPR/BLS certification: Required
• ASHA CCC: Preferred
• Valid Driver's License and minimum age 21: Required

Responsibilities

• Assesses and documents speech therapy data related to patient assessments, patient care needs, interventions and outcomes.
• Identifies changes and trends throughout physical and emotional parameters.
• Reviews treatment plans and assesses individual performances to modify, change or write new programs.
• Maintains documentation as required by law, establishment policy and administrative regulation.
• Instructs patients on ways to monitor speech and practice new skills.
• Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
