Qualifications

• Master's Degree or foreign equivalent: Required.
• Speech Pathologist licensure in the state of practice: Required.
• CPR or BLS certification from an approved vendor per AH policy: Required.
• ASHA CCC: Preferred.
• Valid Driver's License and at least 21 years of age: Required.

Responsibilities

• Assesses and documents speech therapy data related to patient assessments, care needs, interventions and outcomes.
• Identifies changes and trends throughout physical and emotional parameters.
• Reviews treatment plans and assesses performances to modify or write new programs.
• Maintains documentation as required by law and policy.
• Instructs patients on ways to monitor speech and practice new skills.
• Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
