Riverside Health in Williamsburg, VA seeks a Speech-Language Pathologist to perform evaluations, develop plans of care, and administer speech-language therapies. The role requires flexibility for daily scheduling and coordination with the care team to restore and maintain communication, swallowing, and motor abilities.

Qualified candidates have a Master’s in Speech-Language Pathology and licensure (ASHA CCC-SLP, VDHP) with CPR/BLS and a valid driver’s license.

Formación

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology required.
• ASHA CCC-SLP certification required upon hire.
• Virginia VDHP licensure required upon hire.
• CPR/BLS certification within 30 days of hire.
• Valid driver's license required.

Responsabilidades

• Performs evaluations and determines SLP diagnoses and develops plan of care.
• Provides reassessments including OASIS and updates plan with physician and interdisciplinary team.
• Provides therapeutic treatments and evaluates equipment needs; documents outcomes and discharge planning.
• Builds collaborative relationships with a multidisciplinary team and participates in meetings and case conferences.
• Carries out treatment plans, maximizes therapeutic benefit, and uses evidence-based guidelines.
• Coordinates with Home Health Aides and supports team members, volunteers and students.
