Job summary

SHC WVUHS Home Care is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to provide in-home nursing services across pediatric to geriatric patients in the Keyser area. The role emphasizes high-quality patient care, adherence to policy, and thorough documentation.

The nurse will perform a range of duties including assessments, care planning, and on-call responsibilities, ensuring safe and effective home health services for diverse patient populations.

Qualifications

• 1 year of Home Health Nursing experience and 2 years of prior nursing experience.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• CPR certification within 30 days of hire (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Provide and monitor basic patient care per policies and procedures.
• Create a safe, comfortable home environment for patients.
• Ensure privacy and dignity during patient care.
• Complete Oasis documentation per federal guidelines and agency SOPs.
• Communicate patient care issues to the team to ensure continuity of care.
• Coordinate medications administration as ordered by a physician.
