Job summary

The Lakes Home Care, Inc. in Miami Gardens, FL is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our Home Health team. You will apply the nursing process and deliver patient care under the direction of the Director of Clinical Services.

Responsibilities include assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating care, documenting plans, and maintaining clinical judgment to prioritize patient needs in a home care setting. Competitive salary and flexible hours are offered.

Qualifications

• Current RN license for the state of practice.
• Current health certificate as required by the facility.
• Current PPD or Chest X-Ray.
• Current BLS/CPR certification.
• One year RN experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process to assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care.
• Assess signs and symptoms indicating physiologic and psychosocial changes in the patient’s condition.
• Collects, analyzes, and interprets data and information from health care members and documents diagnoses.
• Document the plan of care using identified nursing diagnoses, expected patient outcomes, and interventions.
• Performs interventions according to priorities, plan of care, and hospital policies.
• Revise the plan of care according to evaluation and updates.
• Use clinical judgment in evaluation activities to meet patient needs of assigned unit.
• Other RN duties as assigned.
