Job summary

Inspired Home Care in Elmhurst, IL is hiring PRN and part-time Home Health Nurses to manage their own caseload with independence and strong time management. You will work one-on-one with patients outside a clinical setting to meet their individual needs.

Responsibilities include assessing patients during every visit, performing vital signs, wound care, IV therapy, Oasis assessments, and patient education. You will coordinate with therapists, physicians and the care team, travel to multiple

Qualifications

• State RN license required.
• 1 year of experience in in-home care.
• Excellent communication and time management skills.
• Compassionate and friendly demeanor.
• Ability to travel to multiple patients per day.
• Preferred knowledge of WellSky Kinnser.

• Perform evaluation tasks including vital signs and medication review, Oasis assessment, wound care and IV therapy
• Dress or re-dress open wounds and assess the progress of healing
• Educate patients and their families on proper home health care strategies and procedures
• Coordinate with Occupational Therapists, Physical Therapists, Speech Therapists, Physicians and anyone else involved in the patient's care plan
• Make recommendations for devices or tools that might improve the patient's quality of life
• Listen to the patient and respond to concerns or requests

You will be responsible for managing your own caseload, so time management skills and the ability to work independently are essential.
