Job summary

Inspired Home Care is seeking a licensed RN for in-home nursing, offering part-time/PRN roles. You will assess patients during visits, review meds, perform Oasis assessments, wound care and IV therapy, and coordinate with a full care team to meet each patient’s needs.

Candidate should have at least 1 year of in-home care experience, strong communication and time management, and a compassionate demeanor; travel to multiple patients per day is required. WellSky Kinnser knowledge is preferred.

Qualifications

• RN license required.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients' condition during every visit and chart observations.
• Perform evaluation tasks including vital signs and medication review, Oasis assessment, wound care and IV therapy.
• Dress or re-dress open wounds and assess healing progress.
• Educate patients and families on home health care strategies and procedures.
• Coordinate with therapists, physicians and others involved in patient care plan.
• Make recommendations for devices or tools to improve quality of life.
• Listen to patients and respond to concerns or requests.

Inspired Home Care is a 5-Star Agency ACHC accredited rapidly expanding and we are hiring PRN and Part Time effective immediately. You will be responsible for managing your own caseload, so time management skills and the ability to work independently are essential. However, it is important to provide each patient with the time and attention necessary to meet his or her needs. If you enjoy working one-on-one with patients outside of a clinical setting, please submit your resume.

Home Health Nurse Responsibilities:

• Assess patients' condition during every visit and chart your observations
• Perform evaluation tasks including vital signs and medication review, Oasis assessment, wound care and IV therapy
• Dress or re-dress open wounds and assess the progress of healing
• Educate patients and their families on proper home health care strategies and procedures
• Coordinate with Occupational Therapists, Physical Therapists, Speech Therapists, Physicians and anyone else involved in the patient's care plan
• Make recommendations for devices or tools that might improve the patient's quality of life
• Listen to the patient and respond to concerns or requests

Qualifications:
