Job summary

Amergis Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Home Health Registered Nurse (RN) for Indianapolis, IN. This travel position provides and documents skilled one-on-one nursing care in patients' homes per physician orders, with activities and appointments as needed.

The role requires graduation from an accredited nursing program, active RN license in Indiana, CPR if applicable, TB screening/health clearance, and compliance with applicable laws; travel to home health settings may be involved.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse in Indiana.
• CPR if applicable and TB/PPD or chest x-ray when required.
• Health certificate required by contract or regulation.
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements.
• Must be at least 18 years old.

Responsibilities

• Provide and document skilled one-on-one nursing care per physician orders.
• Care is delivered primarily in the patient’s home or a related setting, with some transport for appointments.

Education

The Home Health Registered Nurse is responsible forproviding and documenting skilled one-on-one nursing care in accordance withthe physician-ordered individualized patient care plan. This care is provided mostly in the patient’shome or a residential setting but can transfer outside the home duringappointments and other activities the nurse may accompany the patient to.

Minimum Requirements:

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing

• Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse in the state inwhich the RN will practice

• Current CPR if applicable

• TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable

• Current Health certificate (per contract or stateregulation)

• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age
