Job summary

Amergis Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Home Health Registered Nurse to provide and document skilled one-on-one nursing care in patients' homes or residential settings, with travel to appointments as needed.

Requirements: graduate of an accredited nursing program, current RN license in the practicing state, CPR if applicable, health certificate, and eligibility to meet federal, state and local requirements; must be at least 18 years old.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse in the state in which the RN will practice
• Current CPR if applicable
• Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation)
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements
• Must be at least 18 years of age

Responsibilities

• Provide and document skilled one-on-one nursing care in the patient’s home or residential setting.
• Care is provided mostly in the patient’s home but may transfer outside the home during appointments and activities the nurse may accompany the patient to.

Education

Graduate of an accredited nursing school

RN license in practicing state

CPR certification (if applicable)

Health certificate

Must meet federal/state/local requirements

Must be at least 18 years old

Job description

The Home Health Registered Nurse is responsible for providing and documenting skilled one-on-one nursing care in accordance with the physician-ordered individualized patient care plan. This care is provided mostly in the patient’s home or a residential setting but can transfer outside the home during appointments and other activities the nurse may accompany the patient to.

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
• Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse in the state in which the RN will practice
