Job summary
UnitedHealth Group, via Mederi Caretenders, is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant for home health in Florida. You will perform treatment and provide exercise instruction and patient education to improve well-being under a supervising PT.
Primary responsibilities include following state laws, guiding patients in exercises, observing outcomes, and coordinating with the healthcare team. Weekend availability and CPR certification are preferred.
Qualifications
- Current, licensed PTA in the state of practice.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Available to work weekend rotations.
Responsibilities
- Follow state laws and implement treatment plan under supervising PT.
- Instruct patients in active/passive exercise, gait, ADL, transfers, and safety.
- Observe and report patient responses; coordinate with the care team.
