Job summary

PARS Therapy in Grand Prairie, TX is seeking a committed Physical Therapy Assistant for home health duties. You will partner with patients to restore motion and optimize function in the home setting, under a licensed PT's supervision.

Responsibilities include creating personalized care plans, using evidence-based techniques, and promoting mobility, strength, and balance. CPR and TX PTA certification are required, with preferred home health experience.

Qualifications

• Home Health or Rehab experience preferred
• Proven work experience as a Physical Therapist Assistant
• Ability to collaborate with other health professionals

Responsibilities

• Identify and meet patients' goals and needs.
• Provides PTA services to patients in the home setting under the supervision of a licensed PT.
• Offer cost-effective treatments that improve motion and mobility.
• Reduce the need for medications and provide alternatives to surgery.
• Develop care plans using various treatment techniques.
• Create fitness- and wellness-oriented programs tailored to patients' needs.
• Perform miscellaneous duties as assigned by Supervisor.
• Provide quality, personalized care and proven interventions.
• Motivate patients during treatment to help them function optimally and promote healthy lifestyle.
