Qualifications

• Active PTA license in Texas
• Current CPR certification
• Professional liability insurance coverage
• Experience in home health or rehab settings preferred
• Collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary care team
• Clinical experience as a Physical Therapist Assistant
• Adapt care approaches to diverse patient needs
• Knowledge of current treatment techniques and practices
• Professional and compassionate patient education and engagement

Responsibilities

• Deliver home-based physical therapy services under a licensed PT
• Identify patient goals and implement mobility interventions
• Provide evidence-based treatments to improve movement and independence
• Promote alternatives to surgery and reduce medication reliance
• Develop individualized care plans with proven techniques
• Create wellness and fitness programs tailored to patients
• Educate and motivate patients to participate in rehab
• Improve strength, flexibility, balance and coordination
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals for coordinated care
• Monitor progress and communicate updates to the supervising therapist
• Document all services and maintain patient records
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the supervisor
