Qualifications

• Active Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) license in Texas.
• Current CPR certification.
• Professional liability insurance.
• Experience in home health or rehabilitation settings preferred.
• Ability to collaborate within a multidisciplinary care team.
• Proven clinical PTA experience.
• Strong interpersonal skills and adaptability in patient care.
• Understanding of current treatment techniques and therapy practices.
• Professional and compassionate patient education.

Responsibilities

• Deliver PTA services in home health under supervision of a licensed PT.
• Identify patient goals and implement mobility interventions.
• Provide evidence-based, cost-effective treatments.
• Support alternatives to surgery and reduce medication reliance.
• Develop and carry out individualized care plans.
• Create wellness and fitness programs for patients.
• Educate and motivate patients to participate in rehab.
• Promote health by improving strength, balance, flexibility.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals for coordinated care.
• Document services and maintain patient records.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by supervising therapist.
