Qualifications

• Associate Degree from an accredited physical therapy assistant program.
• Licensure in the state in which providing therapy (NC/SC); CPR certification.
• Minimum 6 months of experience.
• Knowledge of physical therapy procedures; ability to use goniometers, modalities, assistive devices and exercise equipment.
• Ability to transfer and guard patients; apply manual therapy techniques.
• Professional communication and positive interpersonal skills.
• Physical requirements: lift >50 lbs, transfer >100 lbs; standing/walking.
• Mental abilities: apply PT principles; prioritize duties; learn new skills.
• Sensory: ability to see and communicate clearly.
• Hours: 40-hour weeks; variable Monday-Friday; weekends/holidays as needed.
• Population: Adolescents, adults, geriatrics.
• Must have NC driver's license and vehicle.
