PARS Therapy is seeking a compassionate Home Health Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) in Carrollton, TX to support patients throughout recovery. You will help restore mobility and independence, delivering personalized, compassionate care in the home setting under supervision.

Qualifications

• Active Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) license in Texas.
• Current CPR certification.
• Professional liability insurance coverage.
• Experience in home health or rehabilitation settings is preferred.
• Proven ability to collaborate within a multidisciplinary care team.
• Demonstrated clinical experience as a Physical Therapist Assistant.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to adapt care approaches.
• Solid understanding of current treatment techniques and therapy practices.
• Professional and compassionate when educating and engaging with patients.

Responsibilities

• Deliver home-based physical therapy under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist.
• Assist in identifying patient goals and implement interventions to meet functional and mobility needs.
• Provide evidence-based treatments to promote movement and independence.
• Support alternatives to surgery and reduce reliance on medications through therapy.
• Develop and carry out individualized care plans with proven techniques.
• Create wellness programs tailored to patient conditions and goals.
• Educate and motivate patients to participate actively in rehabilitation.
• Promote strength, flexibility, coordination and balance.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals for coordinated care.
• Document services and maintain patient records.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by supervising therapist.
