PARS Therapy is seeking a compassionate Home Health Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) in Floresville, TX to help patients regain mobility and independence. You will work under a licensed PT to deliver personalized in-home care, develop individualized plans, and educate patients for long-term well-being.

Ideal candidates hold an active Texas PTA license, CPR certification, and liability coverage, with home health or rehab experience and strong collaboration skills to support a multidisciplinary

Qualifications

• Active Texas PTA license.
• Current CPR certification.
• Professional liability insurance coverage.
• Experience in home health or rehabilitation settings preferred.
• Proven ability to collaborate within a multidisciplinary care team.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to adapt care approaches.

Responsibilities

• Deliver physical therapy services in the home setting under supervision of a licensed PT.
• Assist in identifying patient goals and implement interventions to meet functional needs.
• Provide evidence-based, cost-effective treatments to improve movement and independence.
• Support alternatives to surgery and reduce medication reliance through therapy.
• Develop and carry out individualized care plans using proven techniques.
• Create wellness and fitness programs tailored to each patient.
• Educate and motivate patients to participate in rehabilitation.
• Promote overall health by improving strength, flexibility, coordination and balance.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care.
• Monitor progress and document treatment outcomes for the supervising therapist.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the supervising therapist or clinical manager.
