Job summary

Your Health Organization is seeking a qualified Physical Therapy Assistant to provide rehabilitative services to homebound patients under licensed physical therapists. You will participate in treatment plan implementation, guide exercises, educate patients, and help monitor progress in homes, ALFs, and ILFs.

The role offers a salary-based structure with a monthly bonus and opportunities to grow within a collaborative team.

Qualifications

• Associate degree from an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program.
• Current licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Physical Therapy Assistant in the state of practice.
• CPR certification.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Compassion and empathy for patients undergoing rehabilitation.
• Physical stamina and dexterity necessary to assist patients with mobility and perform therapeutic activities.
• Pelvic Health Experience and/or interest

Responsibilities

• Assist in implementing treatment plans and documenting patient progress.
• Conduct therapeutic exercises with patients under supervision of licensed PTs.
• Educate patients on rehabilitation techniques and home programs.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized therapy environment.
• Coordinate discharge plans and follow-up services with the care team.
