PARS Therapy in Hondo, TX is seeking a compassionate Home Health Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to support patients throughout their recovery journey, restoring mobility and independence in the home setting under the supervision of a licensed PT.

By delivering personalized care that integrates prevention, treatment, intervention, and rehabilitation, you’ll contribute meaningfully to each patient’s movement potential and long-term well-being.

Qualifications

• Active Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) license in Texas.
• Current CPR certification.
• Professional liability insurance coverage.
• Experience in home health or rehabilitation settings preferred.
• Proven ability to collaborate within a multidisciplinary care team.
• Demonstrated clinical experience as a PTA.
• Strong interpersonal skills with adaptable care approaches.
• Solid understanding of current treatment techniques and therapy practices.
• Professional and compassionate when educating and engaging with patients.

Responsibilities

• Deliver physical therapy services in the home setting under the supervision of a licensed PT.
• Assist in identifying patient goals and implement interventions to meet functional mobility needs.
• Provide evidence-based, cost-effective treatments to improve movement and independence.
• Support alternatives to surgery and reduce medication reliance through therapy.
• Develop and execute individualized care plans using proven techniques.
• Create wellness and fitness programs tailored to each patient’s condition and goals.
• Educate and motivate patients to participate actively in rehabilitation.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated, high-quality care.
• Monitor progress, evaluate outcomes, and communicate updates to the care team.
• Document all services and maintain complete patient records.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the supervising therapist or clinical manager.
