Job summary

BAYADA Home Health Care in Massachusetts is seeking a Home Health Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) for per-visit home health visits in the North Shore and Merrimack Valley areas. The PTA will support adult and geriatric patients under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist.

Qualifications

• Must have current licensure or certification in Massachusetts.
• Graduate from a two-year PTA program approved by the American Physical Therapy Association, or have two years of PTA experience with a proficiency exam if initial qualification occurred before December 31, 1977.
• At least one year of work experience under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist.

Responsibilities

• Provide PTA services in home health visits per patient plan.
• Assist clients in attaining or maintaining physical well-being through treatment, tests, education and interventions as delegated by a licensed Physical Therapist.
• Work under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist and follow BAYADA policies.
