Job summary

BAYADA Home Health Care, Inc. is seeking a Home Health Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) for home health visits in Topsfield and surrounding areas of the North Shore and Merrimack Valley.

The PTA will work under a licensed Physical Therapist to provide client-centered care to adult and geriatric patients on a per-visit basis. Qualified candidates hold MA PTA licensure, have completed a two-year PTA program, and meet experience or proficiency requirements.

Qualifications

• Must hold current licensure or certification in Massachusetts as a Physical Therapist Assistant.
• Graduate of a two-year college-level PTA program approved by the APTA.
• Two years of PTA experience with a satisfactory proficiency exam or equivalent qualification.

Responsibilities

• Perform home health visits and provide PTA services under supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist.
• Assist clients in achieving or maintaining physical well-being through treatment, tests, education and interventions as delegated.
