Job summary

BAYADA Home Health Care, Inc. is seeking a Home Health Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) for visiting patients in Salem, MA. The PTA will perform home health visits, provide treatments, education, and support under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist.

Required MA PTA licensure, a two-year PTA program (APTA-approved), and at least one year under PT supervision. This role supports adults and geriatric clients in North Shore/Merrimack Valley regions.

Qualifications

• Current Massachusetts licensure or certification as a PTA.
• Graduate from a two-year PTA program approved by the APTA.
• Two years of PTA experience with a qualifying proficiency exam (pre-1978 criteria).
• At least one year of work under supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist.

Responsibilities

• Provide home health PTA services, including treatment and client education.
• Perform tests and interventions as delegated by a licensed Physical Therapist.
• Coordinate with supervising PT to plan, implement and adjust patient care.
