BAYADA Home Health Care in Danvers, MA seeks an experienced Home Health Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to perform in-home visits for adult and geriatric patients on the North Boston Visits team. The PTA assists clients with treatment, education and interventions as delegated by a licensed Physical Therapist.

Candidates must have MA licensure, complete a 2-year PTA program, and meet supervision requirements.

Qualificações

• Massachusetts licensure or certification required.
• Graduate from a two-year PTA program approved by the APTA.
• Two years of PTA experience and a satisfactory proficiency exam per USPHS guidance (if initial qualification before 31 Dec 1977).
• At least one year of work experience under supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist.
• Other activities as requested by supervision.

Responsabilidades

• Provide PTA services under a licensed Physical Therapist.
• Assist patients to attain or maintain optimal physical well-being.
• Perform treatment, tests, client education and appropriate interventions.
• Work under supervision of a qualified Physical Therapist.
