Job summary

Well Care Home Health of the Lowcountry, Inc. seeks a Physical Therapist Assistant to administer prescribed PT treatments to patients of all ages, assist with program development, and document in line with agency policies.

The ideal candidate holds an Associate Degree from an accredited PTA program, licensure in NC or SC with CPR, at least 6 months of experience, and the physical capability to lift 50+ lbs and transfer patients.

Qualifications

• Associate degree from an accredited PTA program.
• Licensure in NC or SC; CPR certification.
• Minimum 6 months of experience.
• Knowledge of physical therapy procedures and ability to use therapy equipment.
• Professional interaction with patients, families, and staff.
• Physical ability to lift >50 lbs and transfer >100 lbs.
• Ability to learn and use computer technology.
• Ability to communicate clearly and adhere to policies.
• Must have a valid North Carolina driver’s license and access to a vehicle.
