Responsibilities include documenting progress notes within 72 hours, assisting with assessments, and guiding patients through strengthening exercises and use of self-help devices.

• Under the direction of a Registered Physical Therapist (PT) provide patient services delegated by the PT.
• Assist in the evaluation and development of a rehabilitative plan of care and in periodic re-evaluation as required.
• Prepare clinical and daily progress notes; notes reviewed by the PT and submitted within 72 hours.
• Perform routine strengthening and therapeutic exercises and assist the patient with self-help devices.
