Job summary

UnitedHealth Group is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant for home health settings in a full-time role. You will follow the plan of care under a supervising Physical Therapist, instruct patients in exercises, and coordinate care with the healthcare team to support patient well-being.

Qualifications

• Must be licensed/registered/certified to assist in the practice of physical therapy in state of practice.
• Must have valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Available to work a weekend rotation.
• Preferred CPR certification or ability to obtain within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Follow state-specific laws and supervising PT guidance.
• Instruct patients in active and passive exercise, gait, and ADLs.
• Observe and report patient responses to treatment to the PT and care team.
• Educate patient, family, and care team on therapy within PTA scope.
• Provide care in home settings regardless of patient background.
