Millennium Physician Group Careers seeks a Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to join our Home Health Team in Cape Coral, FL. You will provide skilled therapy under the supervision of a Physical Therapist, helping patients improve mobility, function and independence.

This PRN position offers variable hours and requires Florida licensure plus at least 6 months of hospital, skilled nursing, or rehab experience. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team and maintain patient documentation.

Qualifications

• Florida PTA licensure required.
• Minimum 6 months experience in hospital, skilled nursing facility, or rehab.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and critical thinking skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled therapy services under the supervision of a Physical Therapist.
• Implement treatment plans including exercises, gait training and device training.
• Educate patients and families on techniques to support recovery and daily living.
• Collaborate with therapists and other healthcare professionals to ensure patient outcomes.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient progress and plans.
• Adhere to infection control guidelines to protect patients and staff.
