Job summary

Pinnacle Home Care is hiring a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) in Ft. Myers/Cape Coral to join our home health team.

The PTA will assist in patient care plan development, perform therapeutic exercises, and document progress for PT review, ensuring high-quality patient outcomes in home settings. Ideal candidates are Florida-licensed PTAs with BLS certification, strong communication skills, and reliability.

Qualifications

• Must be a licensed PTA in Florida and accredited PTA program completed.
• Strong communication and physical stamina required for home health settings.
• Experience with electronic medical records is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist in evaluating and developing patient care plans and conduct periodic reassessments.
• Document clinical and daily progress notes for PT review and submission.
• Perform therapeutic exercises and assist patients with self-help devices.
