Interim HealthCare in Globe, AZ is seeking a Home Health Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to support patients in their homes. The role involves delivering personalized therapy, coordinating with a home health team, and documenting progress under the supervising Physical Therapist.

The position offers part-time or full-time hours, competitive per-visit pay, travel time reimbursement, and benefits for full-time staff. Applicants must meet licensure requirements and pass background checks.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant Program and active PTA license in Arizona.
• Minimum of one year of PTA experience, preferably in home health care.
• CPR Certification (demonstration course required).
• Pass a background check and drug test (THC testing required).
• Knowledge of state and federal home health regulations.
• Good clinical judgment, strong interpersonal skills, dexterity, and compassion.

Responsibilities

• Provide home-based physical therapy to patients who have lost mobility, strength, and functionality due to illness or injury.
• Work as part of a home health team focused on the patient’s plan of care and goals.
• Act at the direction and under the supervision of the treating Physical Therapist and in accordance with the plan of care.
• Assist the treating Physical Therapist in documenting exercises in the patient’s chart and printing out exercises for home use as directed.
• Educate the patient and family with exercises under supervision of the treating Physical Therapist and other caregivers.
