Qualifications

• Active Texas PTA license in good standing.
• Strong clinical judgment and independent field work under PT supervision.
• Comfort escalating changes to PT/RN/MD and documenting rationale clearly.
• Clear communication and thorough documentation.
• Reliable follow-through on treatment plans and goals.
• Valid driver's license and daily travel across assigned territory.
• Ability to carry basic therapy equipment.
• Competency in core PTA scope: transfers, gait, balance, safety, and rehab.

Responsibilities

• Deliver skilled PTA visits in the home under the supervising PT’s plan of care.
• Execute treatment plans focusing on mobility, gait, balance, and home safety.
• Set/track progress and communicate updates to the supervising PT.
• Coordinate with care team and escalate changes in condition as needed.
• Coach patients and caregivers with practical home programs.
• Document promptly in Homecare Homebase (HCHB).
