Job summary

Millennium Physician Group in Fort Myers, FL is seeking a licensed Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to join our Home Health Team in Lee County. You will evaluate patients, develop individualized treatment plans, and provide therapeutic interventions to improve mobility and independence in patients' homes.

Qualifications

• Current and valid Florida PTA license.
• Minimum 6 months in a hospital, skilled nursing facility, or rehab.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong work ethic and reliability.
• Transportation to visit patients at home.

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled therapy services under the supervision of a Physical Therapist.
• Implement treatment plans, including therapeutic exercises, gait training, and assistive device training.
• Educate patients and families on rehabilitation techniques to improve function.
• Collaborate with Physical Therapists, occupational therapists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal outcomes.
