Job summary

PARS Therapy is seeking a compassionate Physical Therapist (PT) to join our home health team in Longview, TX. The clinician will help patients regain movement, reduce pain, and improve quality of life in their own homes, while delivering evidence-based care.

Responsibilities include evaluating patients, creating treatment plans, performing therapeutic interventions, educating families, and documenting progress.

Qualifications

• Active Texas PT license.
• Professional liability insurance coverage.
• Graduate degree or higher in Physical Therapy.
• Experience in home health or rehabilitative settings preferred.
• Ability to adapt care approaches to variety of patients.
• Up-to-date knowledge of evidence-based treatment techniques.
• Excellent communication and professional demeanor.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients’ physical abilities and functional limitations in a home health setting.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to restore function and mobility.
• Provide interventions including exercise, gait training, manual therapy, and balance retraining.
• Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs, safety techniques, and adaptive strategies.
• Monitor progress and adjust plans to achieve optimal outcomes.
• Document evaluations, treatments, and progress notes using digital platforms.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and occupational therapists.
• Conduct home safety assessments and recommendations to prevent falls or re-injury.
• Deliver compassionate care while empowering patients to achieve independence.
