Job summary

PARS Therapy is seeking a compassionate Physical Therapist (PT) to join our home health team in Lockhart, Texas. This role focuses on helping patients regain movement and independence in the comfort of their own homes.

You will evaluate, treat, and educate in collaboration with an interdisciplinary team, with emphasis on safety, evidence-based techniques, and patient-centered care. If you are licensed in Texas and enjoy empowering patients at home, we’d love to hear from you.

Qualifications

• Active Physical Therapist license in Texas (TX).
• Professional liability insurance coverage for TX PT license.
• Graduate degree or higher in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Experience in home health or rehabilitative settings preferred.
• Strong ability to adapt care approaches to different patients.
• Up-to-date knowledge of evidence-based treatment techniques.
• Excellent communication skills and professional demeanor.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients’ physical abilities and functional limitations in a home health setting.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to restore function, mobility, and reduce pain.
• Provide interventions including exercise, gait training, manual therapy, and balance retraining.
• Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs, safety techniques, and adaptive strategies.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust plans to achieve optimal outcomes.
• Document evaluations, treatment sessions, and progress notes using digital platforms.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and occupational therapists.
• Conduct home safety assessments and recommend fall-prevention measures.
• Deliver compassionate care to empower patients toward greater independence.
