Job summary

AdvisaCare is hiring Physical Therapists (PTs) and Physical Therapist Assistants (PTAs) to deliver in-home rehabilitation, assess patients, and create personalized treatment plans. You will educate families and guide clients through exercises to improve mobility and independence.

Qualifications

• Degree from an accredited Physical Therapy and Physical Therapy Assistant program.
• Current licensure as a Physical Therapist and Physical Therapist Assistant in Michigan.
• CPR certification.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Flexibility to adapt to changing client needs and schedules.

Responsibilities

• Assist in implementing individualized treatment plans developed by the licensed Physical Therapist.
• Conduct therapeutic exercises and activities with clients to improve mobility, strength, and coordination.
• Provide guidance and education to clients and families on proper exercise techniques, transfers, and ambulation.
• Assess and document clients' progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure continuity of care and optimal patient outcomes.
• Communicate effectively with clients, families, and caregivers, providing support and answering questions.
• Adhere to all relevant legal, ethical, and professional standards.
