Job summary

PARS Therapy is seeking a compassionate Physical Therapist (PT) to join our home health team in Central Houston, TX. You will evaluate patients in their homes, design and implement individualized treatment plans, and provide therapies such as exercise, gait training, manual therapy, and balance retraining.

You will educate patients and caregivers, monitor progress, and document care using digital platforms. We value patient-centered care, reliability, and evidence-based practices.

Qualifications

• Active Physical Therapist license in Texas (TX).
• Professional liability insurance coverage for TX PT license.
• Graduate degree or higher in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Experience in home health or rehabilitative settings preferred.
• Ability to adapt care approaches to diverse patient needs.
• Up-to-date knowledge of evidence-based treatment techniques.
• Excellent communication skills and professional demeanor when educating patients.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients’ physical abilities and functional limitations in a home health setting
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to restore function and mobility
• Provide therapeutic interventions including exercise, gait training, manual therapy, and balance retraining
• Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs and safety techniques
• Monitor patient progress and adjust plans to achieve optimal outcomes
• Document evaluations, treatment sessions, and progress notes in digital platforms
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and occupational therapists
• Conduct home safety assessments and recommend fall-prevention strategies
• Deliver compassionate care to empower patients toward independence
