Job summary

PARS Therapy is seeking a compassionate and skilled Physical Therapist (PT) to join our home health team serving Cotulla, TX and surrounding areas. You will evaluate patients, develop treatment plans, provide interventions, educate caregivers, and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to improve mobility and reduce pain.

You should be licensed in Texas, have a graduate degree in Physical Therapy, and preferably experience in home health.

Qualifications

• Active Physical Therapist license in Texas.
• Professional liability insurance coverage for TX license.
• Graduate degree or higher in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Experience in home health or rehabilitative settings preferred.
• Adapt care approaches to diverse patient needs.
• Knowledge of evidence-based treatment techniques and best practices.
• Excellent communication and professional demeanor with patients.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients’ physical abilities and functional limitations in a home health setting.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to restore function and mobility.
• Provide interventions including exercise, gait training, manual therapy, and balance retraining.
• Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs and safety.
• Monitor progress and adjust plans to achieve outcomes.
• Document evaluations, sessions, and progress notes using digital platforms.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and occupational therapists.
• Conduct home safety assessments and prevent falls or re-injury.
• Deliver compassionate care and empower patients toward independence.
