Job summary

PARS Therapy is seeking a compassionate Physical Therapist (PT) to join our home health team in Kaufman, TX. You will evaluate patients, design individualized treatment plans, and deliver evidence-based therapies in patients' homes to restore mobility and reduce pain.

This clinician-friendly role offers flexible scheduling, comprehensive benefits, and a supportive interdisciplinary environment. A TX PT license and liability coverage are required, with a DPT preferred.

Qualifications

• Active Texas PT license required.
• Graduate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program (DPT preferred).
• Professional liability insurance coverage.
• Experience in home health or rehabilitative settings preferred.
• Ability to adapt care approaches to diverse patients.
• Up-to-date knowledge of evidence-based treatment techniques.
• Excellent communication and professional demeanor.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients’ physical abilities and functional limitations in a home health setting.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to restore function, improve mobility, and alleviate pain.
• Provide therapeutic interventions including exercise, gait training, manual therapy, and balance retraining.
• Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs, safety techniques, and adaptive strategies.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust plans as necessary to achieve optimal outcomes.
• Accurately document evaluations, treatment sessions, and progress notes using digital platforms.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members including physicians, nurses, and occupational therapists.
• Conduct home safety assessments and make recommendations to prevent falls or re-injury.
• Deliver compassionate care while empowering patients to achieve greater independence.
