Interim HealthCare Inc. is seeking a Home Health Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to deliver personalized, one-on-one home-based therapy across Roanoke and surrounding areas.

The role involves traveling to patient homes, working under a supervising Physical Therapist to implement individualized treatment plans, and improving strength, mobility and daily function. Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited PTA program.
• Active Virginia PTA license.
• Minimum 1 year PTA experience, home health preferred.
• CPR certification and TB baseline screening.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Good clinical judgment and ability to work independently.
• Reliable transportation and willingness to travel throughout the service area.
• Compassionate, patient-focused, and team-oriented mindset.

Responsibilities

• Provide home-based physical therapy under the direction of a supervising Physical Therapist.
• Assist patients with therapeutic exercises, stretching, balance training, gait training, and mobility activities.
• Monitor patient progress and report changes to the supervising Physical Therapist.
• Reinforce and carry out individualized treatment plans established by the Physical Therapist.
• Educate patients and family members on exercises, mobility techniques, safety precautions, and home exercise programs.
• Assist patients in improving strength, endurance, coordination, and functional mobility.
• Document patient visits, progress, and treatment responses accurately and timely.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members including RNs, LPNs, CNAs, OTs, and SLPs to support patient goals and continuity of care.
• Maintain compliance with home health regulations and company policies.

Schedule:Full-Time / PRN (Flexible Scheduling Available)

Pay: $45-$100 per visit depending on visit type + mileage reimbursement

Job Overview:

We are currently seeking a compassionate and skilledHome Health Physical Therapist Assistant – PTA to provide personalized, one-on-one therapy services in a home setting throughout Roanokeand the surrounding coverage areas. This position is ideal for a PTA who enjoys working independently while helping patients regain strength, mobility, balance, and overall functionality in their daily environment.

As a Home Health Physical Therapist Assistant – PTA, you will work under the supervision of a Physical Therapist to carry out individualized treatment plans for patients recovering from illness, injury, surgery, or chronic conditions. This role requires travel to patient homes throughout the service area's.
