Lake Norman Home Health, part of LHC Group and UnitedHealth Group family, is seeking a Physical Therapy Assistant to implement treatment plans, provide exercise instruction and patient education in home health settings.

The role requires being licensed as a PTA, weekend availability, CPR certification, and reliable transportation to serve patients in Mooresville, NC. You will collaborate with supervising PTs and care teams to improve patient well-being and independence.

Qualifications

• Current, licensed, registered, or certified to assist in the practice of physical therapy.
• CPR certification preferred or ability to obtain within 90 days of hire.
• Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, transferring, and mobility assistance.

Responsabilités

• Follow state laws and supervising PT’s plan of care; perform only approved procedures.
• Instructs and aids patients in active and passive exercise, gait, ADL, transfer, and prosthetic training.
• Observe, record, and report patient response to treatment to the supervising PT and care team.
• Instructs patient, family, and care team in therapy within PTA scope.
