Job summary

Angels Care Home Health is seeking a Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to provide physical therapy services under the supervision of a licensed PT in patients' homes. The PTA will implement selected components of interventions and ensure high-quality care in a home health setting.

Qualified candidates have CAPTE-accredited PTA training, an unrestricted PTA license, CPR certification, a valid Driver’s License, and state-board experience with home-based patient care.

Qualifications

• Graduated from a CAPTE-accredited PTA program.
• Current unrestricted PTA license.
• Current unrestricted Driver’s License.
• Experience as required by state board to treat patients in their homes.
• Therapy skills aligned with APTA standards.
• Good interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of durable medical equipment for PT needs.
• Proof of CPR certification.
• Reliable transportation with valid auto liability insurance.

Responsibilities

• Provide physical therapy services under the supervision and direction of the licensed physical therapist.
• PTAs implement selected components of patient interventions and treatments.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort during therapy sessions.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient progress and interventions.
