Job summary

PARS Therapy in El Paso, TX is seeking a compassionate Physical Therapist to join our home health team. The PT will evaluate patients at home, develop individualized plans, and provide evidence-based interventions to restore function and mobility.

Responsibilities include educating patients and caregivers, documenting progress, and collaborating with an interdisciplinary team, all while delivering compassionate care with a focus on safety and independence.

Qualifications

• Active Physical Therapist license in TX
• Graduate degree or higher in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
• Experience in home health or rehabilitative settings preferred
• Up-to-date knowledge of evidence-based treatment techniques and best practices
• Excellent communication and patient education skills

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients in a home health setting and determine functional limitations
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to restore function and mobility
• Provide interventions such as exercise, gait training, manual therapy, and balance retraining
• Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs and safety techniques
• Monitor progress and adjust plans to achieve optimal outcomes
• Document evaluations, treatments, and progress in digital systems
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other therapists
• Conduct home safety assessments and recommend fall-prevention strategies
• Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care to promote independence
