Job summary

PARS Therapy seeks a compassionate Physical Therapist to join our home health team in El Paso, TX. The PT will evaluate patients, design individualized treatment plans, and deliver evidence-based interventions in patients’ homes.

The role requires an active TX PT license, liability insurance, and a DPT or equivalent. Experience in home health is preferred, with strong communication and adaptability to diverse patient needs.

Qualifications

• Graduate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program (DPT or equivalent).
• Active Physical Therapist license in Texas (TX).
• Professional liability insurance coverage for TX license.
• Home health or rehabilitative care experience preferred.
• Ability to adapt care approaches to diverse patient needs.
• Up-to-date knowledge of evidence-based treatment techniques and best practices.
• Excellent communication and a friendly, professional demeanor with patients.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients in a home health setting and assess functional abilities.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to restore function and mobility.
• Provide interventions including exercises, gait training, manual therapy, and balance retraining.
• Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs and safety.
• Monitor progress and adjust plans to achieve optimal outcomes.
• Document evaluations, treatments, and progress notes using digital platforms.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other therapists.
