Job summary

Lakeview Village is a continuing care retirement community recruiting a Physical Therapist for a full-time role. The therapist will evaluate residents, plan and administer medically prescribed physical therapy, and collaborate with the care team to maintain resident independence.

Requirements include graduating from an APTA-accredited program and Kansas licensure, plus strong communication and empathy for the elderly. Ability to work with families and staff is essential.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an American Physical Therapy Association accredited school of Physical Therapy.
• Licensed to practice in Kansas.
• Strong communication and empathetic approach to the elderly.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement resident treatment plans to restore, maintain, and prevent decline of function.
• Consult with physicians, residents, and families to establish goals and monitor progress.
• Coordinate with interdisciplinary team to ensure discharge planning and follow-up when needed.
• Document all resident care services accurately and maintain infection-control standards.
• Maintain professional competency through ongoing education and team collaboration.
