Job summary

Lakeview Village in Lenexa, Kansas is seeking a caring Physical Therapist Assistant to join our on-site outpatient therapy team. The role supports rehabilitation for seniors and helps restore or maintain function under the guidance of a Physical Therapist.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program and licensed to practice in Kansas.
• Experience with elderly residents preferred.
• Strong communication skills in reading, writing, speaking, and English.
• Empathetic approach to the elderly and teamwork oriented.
• Able to meet the physical demands of the job.

Responsibilities

• Assist in treating residents as directed by a Physical Therapist to restore or maintain function.
• Participate as an active member of the rehabilitation team.
• Collaborate with residents, relatives and staff to support therapy goals.
