Job summary

Amedisys is seeking a Physical Therapist for a full-time, Baylor Weekends position. You will help patients maintain and improve movement at home, with periodic reexaminations and discharge planning. Current PT licensure, CAPTE-accredited education, and CPR certification are required, with potential mentorship if <1 year of experience. Competitive benefits accompany the role.

Qualifications

• Current license to practice physical therapy in the assigned state.
• Graduate from an accredited physical therapy educational program as set by CAPTE.
• One year of related physical therapy experience for home health care entry.
• If less than one year of experience, mentoring and/or residency participation may be required.

Responsibilities

• Help patients maintain, restore and improve movement, activity and function.
• Provide interventions, conduct reexaminations (every 30 days, at minimum), adjust interventions as needed, and perform discharge planning.
• Other duties as assigned.
