Job summary

PARS Therapy in Carrollton, TX is seeking a compassionate Physical Therapist to join our home health team. You will evaluate patients in their homes, develop and implement individualized treatment plans, and provide interventions such as exercise, gait training, manual therapy, and balance retraining.

You will educate patients and caregivers, document progress, and collaborate with physicians, nurses, and therapists.

Qualifications

• TX PT license required
• Professional liability insurance coverage
• Graduate degree in Physical Therapy
• Home health experience preferred
• Evidence-based treatment techniques and good communication

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients’ physical abilities and functional limitations in a home health setting
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to restore function, improve mobility, and alleviate pain
• Provide interventions including exercise, gait training, manual therapy, and balance retraining
• Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs, safety techniques, and adaptive strategies
• Monitor patient progress and adjust plans to achieve outcomes
• Accurately document evaluations and progress using digital platforms
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and therapists
• Conduct home safety assessments to prevent falls or re-injury
• Deliver compassionate care empowering patient independence
