Amedisys is seeking a Physical Therapist to support patients in the Pulaski, VA area in a full-time role.

Responsibilities include helping patients maintain, restore and improve movement, conducting periodic reexaminations, modifying interventions as needed and planning discharges; other duties as assigned. Requires CAPTE-accredited program graduation and state licensure, CPR, and at least one year in home health care; mentoring if less experience is available.

Qualifications

• Current license to practice physical therapy in the assigned state.
• Graduate from CAPTE-accredited PT program.
• One year of home health PT experience; mentoring if less than one year.

Responsibilities

• Help patients maintain, restore and improve movement, activity and function.
• Provide interventions, conduct reexaminations every 30 days, adjust plans, and discharge planning.
• Other duties as assigned.
