Job summary

Interim HealthCare Inc. is seeking a Physical Therapist (PT) for home health in the City of Pittsburgh area, including South Side, West Mifflin and Brentwood.

You will evaluate and treat patients in their homes, establish a treatment plan with exercises and manual therapy, educate families, and coordinate with other providers to achieve optimal outcomes. Flexible scheduling (FT, PT, or PRN) and a daily pay option are available, with a focus on one-to-one patient care.

Qualifications

• Licensure: Current unrestricted PT license in the state where position is located.
• Current CPR/AED/BLS/First Aid certification.
• Reliable transportation to/from care sites/work locations.
• One (1) year of professional experience practicing as a Physical Therapist (PT) in a home health or similar setting.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat patients in a home health setting with mobility limitations.
• Establish and administer a treatment plan using exercises, stretching, manual therapy, and equipment.
• Educate patients and families in rehabilitative care and activities to promote health and independence.
• Collaborate with other providers servicing the client to achieve optimal outcomes.
