Job summary

Elite Home Health, part of the LHC Group and the Optum family, seeks a Physical Therapist Assistant to deliver treatment and education under the supervising Physical Therapist. You will work in home care, following the established plan of care to improve patient well-being and independence.

Responsibilities include guiding patients through exercises, recording progress, and coordinating with the health team. A current PTA license and reliable transportation are required.

Qualifications

• Current, licensed, registered, or certified to assist in the practice of physical therapy in state of practice.
• Current driver's license and vehicle insurance or access to dependable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Follow state laws and plan of care as defined by supervising PT.
• Instruct patients in active and passive exercise, gait, ADLs, and safety.
• Observe and report patient responses; coordinate with health care team.
