Job summary

UnitedHealth Group is seeking a Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant to provide home health services in Washington. You will implement the plan of care under the supervising Physical Therapist, educate patients and families, and travel to patient homes within the service area.

Responsibilities include executing therapy plans, documenting progress, and coordinating with the health care team to ensure quality patient care. A valid WA PTA license and CPR are required.

Qualifications

• Licensed, registered, or certified to assist in physical therapy in the state of Washington.
• Current CPR certification or ability to obtain within 90 days of hire.
• Proven ability to operate in diverse home settings.
• Valid driver's license with vehicle insurance and access to reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Follow state laws and supervise treatment plan with the supervising PT.
• Instruct patients in active and passive exercises, gait, ADLs, and safety.
• Observe and report patient progress to PT, nurse, and physician as needed.
• Educate patient, family, and care team on therapy within scope of PTA.
• Visit patients within the service area.
