Qualifications

• Graduation from an APTA-approved physical therapy program.
• Current, unrestricted Texas PT license.
• At least 1 year of healthcare facility experience.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Evaluating functional needs and creating individualized treatment plans.
• Providing skilled physical therapy in the home.
• Tracking progress and adjusting care as needs change.
• Teaching patients and caregivers strategies to support recovery between visits.
• Coordinating care with physicians and other healthcare professionals.
• Completing timely, accurate clinical documentation.
• Supervising therapy assistants and support team members as appropriate.

What You’ll Need

• Graduation from an APTA-approved physical therapy program

• A valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record, or reliable transportation between patient homes and work locations
• Ability to frequently lift, push, pull, and support up to 50 pounds, including patient positioning, transfers, and moving equipment
